What we collect
Your email and account details, the eSIMs and orders you buy, and basic device/usage data needed to provide and support the service.
How we use it
To create your account, provision and manage eSIMs, take payment, provide support, and send service messages (e.g. install instructions, low-data alerts).
Sharing
We share the minimum needed with our network/eSIM and payment providers to deliver your plan. We do not sell your personal data.
Payments
Card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). Esimu does not store full card numbers.
Cookies and analytics
We use one analytics cookie (named "_v") to recognise return visits and understand which destinations and landing pages our visitors find useful. The cookie lasts 12 months and you can decline it at any time using the consent banner. When we record a pageview we also store a one-way salted hash of your IP address and your browser type. We never store the raw IP. We keep these records for 180 days and then delete them automatically. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, session replay, or click-heatmap tools. If you choose Reject in the banner, we record nothing at all.
Your choices
You can update your profile, opt out of marketing email, and request access to or deletion of your data from My eSIMs. Deleting your account also clears any analytics data linked to you. Subject to legal retention requirements.
Data retention & security
We keep data only as long as needed for the service and legal obligations, and protect it with industry-standard safeguards.
